At Conscious Leadership Partners, we believe the future of leadership isn’t about adding more skills; it’s about unlearning what no longer serves.

Our approach is grounded in the work of our founder, Carolina Caro, a scientist by training who studied what drives and disrupts behavior change. Her insight became our foundation: people don’t resist change because they lack information; they resist because they’re attached to the identity patterns that define who they are.

Through The Unlearning Advantage™, we help leaders, teams, and organizations move beyond surface-level behavior change to achieve transformation at the level of identity. True identity-level transformation happens by clearing interference and restoring coherence, the alignment between thought, emotion, language, and action that allows new ways of being to take hold.

Our proprietary diagnostic, the Coherence Index™, measures interference across three levels of coherence: self (leaders), relational (teams), and collective (organizations), revealing where conditioning and legacy patterns disrupt clarity, trust, and alignment.

The POCA® Model for Unlearning (Pause. Observe. Choose. Act.) provides a practical, repeatable framework to interrupt those patterns, release interference, and embody coherence in action. Once coherence is established, skill-building and competency development can take root on solid ground, creating transformation that endures.

ACT

Taking small, aligned steps in how we show up as individuals, teams, and organizations is what creates real, sustainable change. When action aligns with intention, the incremental becomes transformational.

PAUSE

The practice of slowing down to create space for awareness and possibility to emerge. At every level (self, team, and organization), pausing interrupts reactivity and opens the door to what could be, not just what’s been.

CHOOSE

Consciously designing what comes next; shifting beliefs, emotional states, and behaviors across self, team, and organization. Alignment emerges when we intentionally create how we show up, connect, and work together, rather than repeating old patterns.

OBSERVE

Noticing the patterns at play in self, team, and organization, and what lies beneath them. It reveals the identity structures and conditioned responses driving action, turning awareness into insight and opening the space for conscious choice.

PAUSE

Cultivating the mindset shift “to slow down to speed up.” This is about getting off the hamster wheel of being reactive (putting out fires) to creating the space to reflect & think critically. This also allows the space for self-awareness to develop.

OBSERVE

In this stage, we are becoming the observer of our Generational Conditioning which shows up as the unconscious 3Bs (our beliefs, our body and our behaviors). We move from being on an unconscious loop of repeating patterns and starting to see new possibilities.

CHOOSE

intentionally design the desired outcome through new beliefs, shifts in our body and different behaviors. This is where alignment occurs when you consciously create who you want to be rather than defaulted to your autopilot, unconscious habits
